What is the average income for EduPoint tutors from UGM?
Average active tutors from UGM earn IDR 2-5 million per month with 8-15 hours teaching commitment per week. Hourly rate varies from IDR 75,000 to IDR 150,000 depending on subject and level. Tutors who teach UTBK and UM-UGM preparation usually get higher rates.
Do I need prior teaching experience?
No formal teaching experience required. What we're looking for are UGM students with good subject mastery and communication skills. All new tutors will receive free 2-hour EduPoint teaching methodology training before starting to teach.
How does EduPoint's tutor payment system work?
Payments are made weekly via bank transfer every Friday for the previous week's teaching sessions. We use a transparent system where you can track teaching hours and earnings through tutor dashboard. No deductions or admin fees.
Can I teach online only from Yogyakarta?
Absolutely! About 60% of teaching sessions at EduPoint are conducted online. You can choose to teach full online, full offline in Yogyakarta area, or combination of both according to preference. For offline, coverage area includes Sleman, Yogyakarta City, and Bantul.
What is the minimum teaching hours per week?
Minimum commitment is 4 hours per week, but we understand busy class schedules. During midterm/final periods, you can request temporary schedule reduction. Many of our active tutors teach 8-15 hours per week with quite significant earnings as pocket money addition.
